THE COMPANY
Hatrick-Bruce was founded in 1975 by Euan Ferguson, whose principal aim was to establish a
building and civil engineering enterprise. In 1980, the company settled at their current
base in Milnathort, after Euan had the foresight to purchase the site of the old station
yard and livestock market in order to accommodate Hatrick Bruce's future expansion.
Initially Hatrick-Bruce was commissioned to carry out building work packages for major Scottish
house-builders. Subsequently the company branched out into construction, in the agricultural and food industry
sectors, before the civil engineering arm experienced a vibrant period of growth
in the utilities sector at Mossmorran following the petro-chemical boom in Scotland.
As a company, Hatrick-Bruce has deliberately maintained civil engineering and building
divisions. We pride ourselves on training our own staff through apprenticeships, and indeed our involvement
in a wide range of building and civil engineering projects requires our workforce to be fully conversant with various areas
of expertise. Consequently all our engineers and tradesmen are truly "multi-discipline".
Today our skilled teams are active throughout Scotland, carrying out a range of civil engineering
and construction projects for clients in both the corporate and public sectors, as well as for
private individuals. |
