UTILITIES We have always enjoyed a good relationship with the major utility companies such as B.T., Scottish and Southern Energy, Vodafone, Scottish Power and all three Scottish Water Authorities. However, our greatest utilities success story unfolded after we were called in to Mossmorran to assist with the underground services. Having initially been recruited to deal with the potable water systems, gravity and pump drainage systems, telecommunications systems, foundations, building projects and temporary accommodation packages, we progressed to involvement in the commissioning and permanent maintenance of this multi-million pound project.     At present, our eyes are focused more intently on the water industry. Recently, we have worked extensively for East of Scotland Water on several bulk meter installation contracts, and we are currently embarking upon another. Having now been accepted on to the West of Scotland Water Authority's standing list of contractors, we will of course be keen to tender for projects in the West, and we are also currently tendering for a North of Scotland Water Authority project. The past year has seen a upsurge in the level of telecommunications work, as the company has been invited to tender - very successfully - for a succession of Vodafone base station installations. These projects have been perfect examples of our skill combination, since they involve civil, mechanical and electrical work elements.
